About the National Judicial Council

The National Judicial Council (NJC) serves as the highest judicial authority within the fraternity, entrusted with the solemn responsibility of interpreting the Tau Gamma Phi’s National Constitution of 2000 upholding the Local Council Code of 2002, and ensuring that justice is administered with fairness, impartiality, and integrity. As the apex body of the fraternity’s judicial structure, the Council safeguards the rule of law within the organization and preserves the principles upon which the brotherhood was founded.

The NJC exists to ensure that disputes, grievances, and disciplinary matters within the fraternity are resolved through a structured system of due process rather than through conflict, division, or personal influence.
